BLACK SABBATH: BILL WARD Interview Excerpt Available Online
April 2, 2006An excerpt from an extensive interview with BLACK SABBATH drummer Bill Ward is now available online at www.myspace.com/jclgausten. Music writer Joel Gausten conducted this interview as part of his upcoming book, tentatively titled "Albums that (Should've) Changed the World". In addition to featuring exclusive interviews with past/present members of AEROSMITH, KISS, PLASMATICS, KILLING JOKE, PRONG and many others, the book will include a full chapter devoted to Ward's 1989 solo album, "Ward One: Along The Way".
This particular excerpt details Ward's recent "Straws" charity project, his work with legendary CREAM bassist Jack Bruce and Ward's views on how he has been able to survive nearly four decades in the music business.
Joel Gausten is the former managing editor of Liner Notes magazine. A longtime musician, he has worked with a number of artists, including PIGFACE and ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN. "Albums that (Should've) Changed the World" is slated for a late 2007/early 2008 release.
